BAEK Architekten won the 1st prize in the International Urban Design Competition for the previous site of airbase, K-2. The K-2 site has been used as a military airport since the early 1900’s and has been used for military use and normal passengers to this day. After the military airport is relocated, this project to redevelop the 700ha site adjacent to the city center into a new city will be carried out according to our design proposal. Once again, congratulations to the design team and looking forward to continuing to work on the redevelopment of the K-2 site.
